Stand by, everyone, baby Cambridge is imminent. No, Kate hasn't gone into labour but the parking restrictions have been put in place outside St. Mary's, Paddington which means the hospital is expecting a rather special patient very soon. The countdown to the newest royal baby on the block has started.

The royal love birds might be making final preparations for their marriage (May 19th, just in case you've been hiding under a rock) but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had time for another of their great passions. Well, that all went well. The last big Windsor celebration in Windsor before the first royal wedding of the year turned out to be a little grey and grumpy. There was a row about a protocol breach, Prince Philip's health gave cause for concern and over the course of three days, everyone looked ever so slightly down in the dumps. So to mark St Patrick's Day, here's a look at eight royals who had a Pat hidden somewhere in their names.

All royal wedding gowns are spectacular in their own way but the dress of a queen in waiting has to have something really regal about it. So the wedding dress chosen by Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands on March 10th 1966 came with a lot of expectations and anticipation attached to it. And when the bride walked into the Westerkerk in Amsterdam, her gown didn't disappoint.
