Get a hat, get ahead

Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands starred in one Twitter snap this week but she had her back turned so her blue hat became the main focus of the photo.

King Philippe of the Belgians was in blue as well but his hat was a hard hat for a visit to CERN in Geneva which was documented on the official Twitter feed.

Princess Beatrice's hat at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011 was one of the most talked about outfits of the day.  The princess donned another hat this week for the first garden party of the summer season at Buckingham Palace and became the star of the British Monarchy Instagram account for the day.
