Royals on social media, week ending September 6th 2014

The official royal social media accounts are starting to get busy again after the summer break.  Here are some of the highlights from the last week...

Say cheese...

There was plenty of posing for photos going on this week with Prince Daniel smiling for the camera several times with young wellwishers on his day in Orebro.  Some of the images were shared on the official Swedish Royal Household Facebook page.

Queen Letizia posed for pics on her first engagement since the summer break, smiling for the crowds up above her on an engagement in Malaga - an image shared on the @casareal Twitter account.

The Dutch Royal Household Twitter account shared a photo of Princess Beatrix alongside a group of the Engelandvaarders at a reunion in the week.

A new look

Princess Mette-Marit got into the spirit of recycling in the week as she supported the Fretex reuse days which encourage people to rewear old clothes and work with the organisation which helps people who need work to learn skills and find employment. She shared photos of the days on her Twitter account and an image of a dress she recycled for this week's State Banquet on her Instagram account.

King Felipe sported a Spain scarf as he watched the national team take on Senegal in the World Basketball Championships taking place in Grenada at the moment - the official Twitter account showed a before, during and after for the scarf wearing.

And King Carl XVI Gustaf inaugurated a new eco park in the week and donned a stylish hat for the occasion.  The Royal Household shared a Vine of the visit.
