George shows off his little sister

Prince George showed off his baby sister for the first time since her arrival in a brand new photo released by Kensington Palace just hours after details of Princess Charlotte's christening were confirmed. The snap, taken by proud mummy Kate herself, shows George of Cambridge with his arms around Charlotte of Cambridge and looking proudly at the little girl who will soon be stealing his toys. The 'aahs' won't stop for days.

More photos will be released later and all are expected to be of George and Charlotte meaning we'll have to wait until July to see the Cambridges as a four. In the meantime, expect a run on Spanish baby clothes (the jumper is from the same set as the bonnet donned by Charlotte on her departure from hospital the day she was born) and blue socks as George gives us his signature shorts look again. And lots of talk about who Charlotte looks like - as you asked, she's a ringer for Kate as a baby and those Michael Middleton genes are strong arming their way to the front again. Get used to this photo, you won't be seeing anything else for days now.
