The Royal Week, in Numbers

One week, so many royal events. From Olympic receptions to major prize ceremonies, the ruling houses of Europe have been out and about in force. And for those moments you might have missed, here are those seven days and dozens of events boiled down to five - it's the Royal Week, in Numbers.

The number of teen heroes recognised by Radio 1 at its awards this week - they were given the royal seal of approval just days before the prize giving when they met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace. The inspiring young people, aged between 12 and 17, chatted with William and Kate who, on the day of the ceremony, tweeted to say it was an honour to meet them and they were all an inspiration.

The number of years the International Biennale Interieur has been running - this week, Queen Mathilde visited the event in Kortrijk. Mathilde got a tour of some of the major exhibits at the event which this year named Vincent van Duysen as designer of the year.

The anniversary being celebrated by new Swindon this week - the Duchess of Cornwall joined in the festivities. Camilla unveiled a plaque to mark Sir Daniel Gooch Place, the new name for the forecourt at Swindon Railway Station. The town thrived after the arrival of the trains there and Sir Daniel Gooch is now regarded as a founding father of Swindon.

The number of people who live in the three villages recognised as the outstanding community in this year's Princesa de Asturias Awards. Los Oscos welcomed King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia on October 22nd as they celebrated their prize. San Martin de los Oscos, Santa Eulalia de los Oscos and Villanueva de los Oscos were given the award for the way they combine modern life with traditions and for the way they protect the environment around them.

The year that Kunsthall Trondheim began as a pilot project for art exhibitions - this week, Queen Sonja of Norway officially opened it as a permanent venue. The art hall showcases contemporary projects and as well as paintings, it will showcase concerts, poetry and video screenings among other forms of expression.
